I recently gave D programming a shot. And my conclusion. It is not as bad as rumour has it!
The only thing I'm missing out on is the easy way of code browsing and code assist of Visual Studio. When coding something like the World of Warcraft emulator. This is kind of a must have for efficient coding. (unless you're burlex and know the code like a dictionary, yes I respect that)
Of course there is no World of Warcraft written in D YET but... I meant WHAT IF.
But if you actually take the time to learn. It's definitely worth it. BUT I'm still sticking to trusty old C++

Ok Ratchet so you have clearly decided to stick with C/C#. The best advice I can give you now is:
1 Learn and practice programming in C plain C, not C
2 Learn about good object-oriented design
3 When you can do 1 and 2 then learn C.
C is really an expansion on C. C compilers will also compile C.
C is simple but totally as powerful as C.
